Moving Mountains

After much deliberation we finally picked out a fountain for our backyard. It took several months and many talks about how we would get a 1600 pound fountain back there. Last weekend we finally opted for the lighter fountain weighing only 1200 pounds. The people at the fountain place assured us we could move it back there with a dolly instead of needing a crane, which we would not be able to get to the backyard.


On Saturday we moved the fountain in. It took 5 of us. Kyle, Aunt Sherry, Uncle Jim, Jason and I spent about 4 hours on Saturday moving the fountain from the trailer to our backyard. Here are a few pictures of what it took to move this boulder fountain.
