In all of the years that Jason and I have been together, 10 to be exact, we have never taken a road trip together (just the two/three of us). Sure, we have been to Playa Del Carmen, Italy, San Francisco, Hawaii (twice), Alaska/Canada, Belize, Rocky Point (a few times), and Michigan (twice), but never a road trip with the two/three of us.
So, during Fall Break, we decided to venture out as adults, it's about time, right? We went to San Diego. We started out on Wednesday morning, without Starbucks, whose idea was that? Our plan was to go straight to the San Diego Zoo. Unfortunately, we drove about 20 minutes out of our way and had to turn around and drive back, so the 6 hour trip was closer to 7 hours. Once we got to the San Diego Zoo, we only had about 45 mintues to walk around, luckily we were exausted, and San Diego was also going through a heat spell, so 45 minutes was really all we needed. We ran like crazy to see all of the most 'important' animals to see.
