Fall Break in Michigan

During fall break my mom, dad, sister, sister's boyfriend, Jason and I went back to Michigan. We haven't been back in the fall since I was little and we're anxiously anticipating the cold weather and seeing the colorful leaves. We definitely got what we wished for, the high was in the low 40's and the leaves were shades of yellow, red, orange, brown and green. We were able to spend a lot of time with my mom's side of the family. I wish we lived closer together so we could spend time together more often.

When we are in Arizona, whenever you ask my dad what he would like for dinner, he says the same thing: A Mr. Fabulous with onion rings. A Mr. Fabulous is a burger that you used to be able to get in Michigan at a fast food place called Mr. Fables. There are two problems with that request:
1) Mr. Fables was in Michigan, a few thousand miles away
2) Mr. Fables closed down several years ago, so you can't even get them in Michigan.

When we are in Arizona and we get Mexican food my dad always says: "It's not a Beltline Bar Wet Burrito." A wet burrito, in the midwest, is basically a burro enchilada style. While we were in Michigan my dad was able to get a Wet Burrito. As you can see he was very happy!

My mom on the pier at Lake Michigan.

When the cement was wet on the pier someone wrote "I Love Jason", we had to get a picture of that.
